2007 SBSS Volleyball Champions again!!

Even sweeter than the last time. . .

I can not believe summer is almost over! And I have so much to be thankful for...Emily is homeeeeee!!! The paper is finally coming together and I am having a blast at my new job.

EMILY I LOVE YOU.. lol You rock my socks and I know everything you are going through, you will find answers and if I have to help you, you know I will be there in a second...

Putting the Sprott Insider together is more fun than I thought it would be. I think we even started our own reality show haha Of course, Sterling and Amanda definitely keep me sane :) Everyone taking Business at Carleton, be sure to pick up a copy!

Of course my new job is tedious but again it has to be the people that work there that make my days special haha. E, R, P, S && D are constant entertainment. Making fun of baby mountain, bulgarians, E stealing from Charity and P stealing fire hydrants... oh boy

Another month has passed by. Canada Day yesterday -- interesting as usual to say the least. I am so happy that the Sens signed Redden again!! Two years, but hey, they could always resign him again in two years :) We also signed.... Gerber and Corvo...Anticipating the new NHL season... Are we there yet?? haha. Can't wait to go camping with the gang, I wish everyone was going though :(.

I'm so proud of the little ones (aka my brothers and sister) for graduating and excelling at this milestone in their lives. But these events only make me feel.. OLD. haha

This has probably been the best summer ever. I've never felt happier about the place I am in. I also feel so fortunate and blessed for my friends and family. I love you!!!!!

Yeah, so I'm totally this huge nerd that does nothing but fantasize about hockey. Edmonton is playing in game 7 for the cup! Yum, Redden. . . Can you imagine Edmonton signing him?

Happy Birthday Steven!! So many birthdays this summer, so many BBQs and so many adventures :)
And we're already half way through summer. I feel like such a bum this summer but I'm loving it so far...

Anyway, Ultimate game tomorrow and I have some 'scouting' to do (oh my, I miss high school sometimes. . .lol ). I am all for a three game winning streak!! booyah Let's go ' I like to huck'.

WOOOHOOO Edmonton clenches the western conference finals!! OK, so the Sens were out after the second round, but I still love them . . . as long as they resign Redden. Anyways, Go Edmonton all the way for the Stanley Cup Finals!

Haven't updated in such a long time. Internet hasn't been working and stolen wireless only works for so long. LOL

Do you ever look at yourself and think 'who is this stranger who has inhabited my body'? It is amazing. You just stop one day and realize you weren't the person you used to be. And you can't pinpoint the exact moment when you changed. And then you wonder if it really is YOU who changed or has everyone else changed instead? There are so many questions that flood your head, but it doesn't matter. You either have to make that decision to change back to the person you used to be... or embrace the person that you have become.

Just be who you want to be. Not who your friends or your family want you to be.

Ok, so I know that a) I'm late with my excitement, seeing as how the sens made this feat Saturday, but I just had to congratulate them on their big win on LJ. hehe . . . and b) Redden has always been my favorite hockey player:

But, after his mother past away, Redden came back to prove how strong and talented he was - it's just amazing. I cant' explain how much respect I have for Wade and the rest of the team for supporting him, but I know that his mother must be so proud of him for everything. . .

Now onto Round 2 for the Sens against Buffalo.

Funny thing is all those times I was Chris' house back then, I remember Brian Campbell living there, and watching the 67's and this is back when I didn't watch hockey (but Chris forced me to), and then he got drafted and moved out of Chris' house, it just seemed so cool that I know a hockey player. lol. But I never really thought about him again until this year, now that he (&& Buffalo) will be playing against Ottawa in the playoffs.

Regardless, I hope Ottawa kicks some serious ass in the rest of the playoffs.



Anyways, now that it's summer, I can't wait to bum around. hehe This is the first time since the summer after high school that I won't be attending school (not entirely my choice, since there are no classes that I can really take anyways), and it just feels weird. Especially since it's the summer before fourth year, and people will be graduating. It all just happened TOO fast.

God. . . grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

One down, three to go.

And it continues. . . .

And sometimes it's just too little, too late.
